Two things can be examined through these photographs; the vast difference in cultures and the even more vast difference in lifestyle depending on the economic circumstances of the children in the photos. Some have quite possibly the most lavish way imaginable to rest their heads while others barely have a place that's comfortable enough to close their eyes at night. A concept by James Millison with the superb photographs of children around the world in their rooms. A parallel seizing around the inequality and of the difference in cultures. The whole of the project is available in the book "where children sleep". Eye opening stuff, take a second to appreciate the conditions in which you catch those z's.
amazing how some people can have it so good while others can barely find a place to sleep :/
