Diddy Gives a Moving Acceptance Speech

As I was watching this video it made me wonder why African American people are generally more closer to their mothers and share a very strong relationship with them. It's more than apparent through certain artists' songs (tupac, kanye west, biggie, etc.) I spotted a trend. After some thought I came up with the realization that it's because, statistically speaking, alot of them are raised with single mothers in a home where the father figure wasn't prominent. Which in turn creates a stronger relationship. In any case, this is probably one of the most heartfelt acceptance speeches i've ever heard. Especially coming from someone like diddy, he gives us insight into what made him get to where he's at today. This is definitely inspiring and I believe everyone who is successful has someone behind their success; in didd'y case, its his mother. I give the man his due, he is a very hard worker and a brilliant businessman and now we see where he gets it from. Check out Diddy as he wins the BET Honors award for entrepreneurship.
