Mosque "at" Ground Zero?

We don't often get too political here at Profound. We try to stay away from the never ending battles of politics, besides there are tons and tons of other blogs you can go to to seek that sort of subject matter. We tend to enjoy the more fun things in life worth celebrating, here. But of course this is a subject that cannot be entirely ignored. I came across this rather interesting articles about the supposed "mosque" "at" Ground Zero.

The basic premise of it is to show people 1) that this is not a mosque, persay. It is just a place set aside for Muslims to perform their daily prayers whereas a mosque is a lot more than just that. 2) The center is going to be two block and around the corner from Ground Zero, which means you cannot even see it from the Ground Zero location "so you would need to go out of your way to have it offend you."

Check out the video giving you a virtual walk from Ground Zero to the proposed site. Interesting. The main purpose of posting this article is for one reason and one reason alone, for people to become aware and to start thinking for themselves, taking advantage of the resources we have on the information super highway and stop IGNORANCE. Enough is enough -- Love the Profound Fam.
