It's hard to dance with the devil on your back
so shake it out.
The world is pretty much ready for another harmonic and inspirational Florence and the Machine album; one filled with pounding drums, ringing choirs, and the overwhelming vocals of a woman who believes in the power of music. Thankfully, we don't have to wait too long, as the songbird's Ceremonials will be released this Halloween. Turns out she's as excited as we are, speaking back in September 2010 about how her team and self have gone "properly intense". How true that is will be revealed on the 31st, but the video for the first single "Shake it Out" proves that at the least this album is pure Florence, done proper.
The story of Shake it Out is one of vanquishing demons and uplifting oneself from the weight of confusion and exasperation in order to victoriously dance. Even if this appears to take place at the Masquerade from Romeo and Juliet, Shake it Out's already become a heavily blasted anthem.
