The Life + Times released Kendrick Lamar's new video for the single A.D.H.D. At first listen, the song is just another pitless party track, but Lamar's delivery and lyricism weaves a more intimate hypnotic story about the mindset lurking behind drug use.
You know why we crack babies? Because we born in the 80s, the A.D.H.D. crazy....
The song has a throwback feel mixed in with contemporary synths. Lamar, who claims a supernatural encounter with Tupac inspired his work, has just been crowned the new King of the West Coast by none other than Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog. He's sure to bring the crown to new places while also keeping its legacy alive.
