Motor City is known for a lot of things: its cars, its music, its food. But after an economic recession or two the famed city has fallen on some hard times and its wheels have stopped spinning--almost. A young filmmaker and Detroit native by the name of Alex Gallagos made this short documentary about his city and the people who ride around it day and night. On the surface it's a movie about bicycling but what emerges is the story of neighborly grass-roots organization and community building through a fun, healthy, and environmentally friendly activity that is also a great tool for social justice.
