Ibn Jasper aka Ferrari Murakami is the man behind Kanye West's most unique image and style. Jasper is Kanye's personal barber, stylist, as well as close friend. Infact, Kanye named his most expensive Louis Vitton collab sneaker after him.
Starting on his own hair at age fourteen, Jasper started cutting professionally by the time he was seventeen years old. In highschool, he was always best dressed and was noted for his fresh cuts as well. Jasper first started cutting for Kanye's current road manager, Don C, and a few others Kanye knew at his salons and barber shops. It wasnt long after that when Kanye West kept asking them "who's giving you these perfect hair cuts?" Getting a hair cut from Jasper was one of the things Kanye aspaired to do. Therefore, Don brought Kanye over to Jasper's shop and he began doing Kanye's hair very often.
After Kanye moved to New York and started with R.O.C., he always told Jasper that he hated the haircuts he got in NYC. Kanye disliked his cuts so much that he wore hats right after which he called "haircut hats." Kanye begged Jasper to move out here but Jasper was hesitant because of his establishment in Chicago. But in 2004, he packed his clippers and went off with Kanye West to become his very own barber/stylist.
