Street Art in the Counter Culture

I have a tendency to sometimes walk into stores with no intention of buying anything, simply for the search of something eye catching that the newest stock brings just so I can get an idea of what's new out there. The last time I strolled into one of my favorite stores, Urban Outfitters in the city it wasn't a pair of Vans or the newest Levi's skinny's that caught my eye. It was this book called Untitled: Street Art in the Counter Culture that I had to pick up. It's funny how sometimes when you don't put a title to things it leaves much more room for interpretation and raises a level of curiosity. The book is about street art. Not to be filed under history, photography, design or nonfiction, It's simply a collection of the works of various street artists who use graffiti as their tool of expression. Definitely some amazing pieces in this book. Excuse the hazy photography I literally took the shots with my iphone right in the store. Make sure to check out this book next time you come across it.
